Thomas Hunter

Thomas Hunter is the main protagonist in the Circle series. When he dreams he is transported to Other Earth and vice versa. He is the husband of Rachelle and father of Samuel and Marie. His sister is Kara Hunter.

He becomes the supreme commander of The Forest Guard.

Later he marries Chelise after Rachelle is killed.

Biography[]

Thomas Hunter's father was a chaplain in the US army. He grew up in Manila, Philippines. He studied karate from Makatsu and played soccer. Thomas also got into street fights. He was disliked by a particular Filipino street gang who hated Americans. After Manila, Thomas spent several years living in New York. His mom got into some trouble, so he took out a loan and gave her $60,000 to help her. He bought his sister Kara a new car for $15,000 and kept $25,000 for a new business he was starting. With a $100,000 in loans and a dead business, he headed to South America and eventually ended up in Denver, Colorado with Kara.

At the beginning of Black, Thomas was an unpublished author who lived with his sister because he couldn't afford to live on his own. After he started dreaming, he became paranoid and confused. He later became increasingly bold, even to the point of kidnapping Monique de Raison at gunpoint.

In Other Earth, he learns about the Great Romance, Elyon, and Love. He also learns how to fight.
